Endpapers

Add some flair and individuality to your book with Mixam's endpapers. Choose a colour or print a design to match your book's interior - find out about the printing possibilities here.

What are Endpapers?

Endpapers, end sheets, or end leaves - are the first and last pages inside a book. They are double-folded sheets of paper that appear just inside the front and back covers of Hardcover Books. We paste one half against the book covers with a strong adhesive, and the other half are free pages. We make endpapers with a slightly heavier, uncoated paper stock than your interior pages in order to conserve the printed pages and add visual appeal.

We will automatically add endpapers when you submit your Hardcover (Casebound) Book files to Mixam. If you select white or black endpapers, we will include them in your quote for free.

For other binding types, you can add endpapers at an additional cost. You can add extra pages to your order using our Instant Price Calculator. In contrast to Casebound Books, these endpapers will be the same paper type as your other interior pages.

Colour Endpapers

To complement the design of your Hardcover Books, we also offer endpapers in a range of colours for an additional cost. Like the default white or black endpapers, we produce these endpapers from uncoated paper stock slightly heavier than the interior pages.

Printed Endpapers

On higher quantity orders, you have the option of custom-printed endpapers featuring your design. Please remember we will use a thicker paper stock, so colours often appear darker and less saturated on uncoated paper.

Instead of automatically adding these endpapers to your order, we will require an additional print file from you with 3 sides for the front end sheets and 3 sides for the back end sheets.

NOTE: Printed endpapers will require a bespoke quote, so contact us by phone or email with your full print specifications, and a print expert will advise you on how best to proceed with your project.
